Week 14 Early Revenge Games

Everybody loves a good revenge game. Whether there’s bad blood from a player who was cast off from his former team, or a beloved player returning to a place where he was drafted. Here are the revenge game matchups heading into the early games of Week 14.

ColtsColts vs. BuccaneersBuccaneers 1:00 PM EST

Colts LS Luke Rhodes – entered the league as a Bucs UDFA in 2016, but was cut at the end of training camp

Buccaneers DL Rakeem Nunez-Roches – spent the 2018 offseason in Indy before being cut before the season, and later signed with the Bucs in October 2018. Entered the league as a sixth-round pick of the Chiefs in 2015.

RavensRavens vs. BillsBills 1:00 PM EST

Bills WR John Brown – spent the 2018 season with the Ravens as the team’s leading receiver. He then signed with the Bills this offseason on a three-year deal. Entered the league as a third-round pick of the Cardinals in 2014.

Bills K Stephen Hauschka –  spent most of the 2008 and 2009 seasons with the Ravens before being released in November 2009. After entering the league as a Vikings UDFA in 2008, he had short stints with three teams before his six seasons in Seattle. He then signed a multi-year deal with the Bills in 2017.

Bills LB Lorenzo Alexander – spent five days on the Ravens practice squad in 2006

LionsLions vs. VikingsVikings 1:00 PM EST

Vikings RB Ameer Abdullah – entered the league as a second-round pick of the Lions in 2015. He was the fourth RB selected in the draft, but failed to succeed in Detroit and later released in November 2018 and picked up by the Vikings.

Lions QB Kyle Sloter – spent 2017 and 2018 seasons with the Vikings as their third-string quarterback. He was waived before this season, picked up by the Cardinals, then signed by Detroit due to injury.

Lions CB Justin Coleman – entered the league as a Vikings UDFA in 2015.

RedskinsRedskins vs. PackersPackers 1:00 PM EST

Packers OLB Preston Smith – Smith was drafted by the Redskins in the second round in 2015, where he spent four seasons playing all 48 games. Signed a multi-year deal with the Packers this offseason and has already set a career-high in sacks.

Packers WR Ryan Grant – entered the league as a fifth-round pick of the Redskins in 2014. He didn’t really produce in his four seasons with the team, and has bounced around a bit since hitting free agency in 2018. He signed in Green Bay this past October.

Redskins OLB Chris Odom – spent the 2017 season with the Packers before being released during 2018 cutdowns. He then spent time in the AAF before signing with the Redskins at the start of this season. Entered the league as a Falcons UDFA in 2017.

BroncosBroncos vs. TexansTexans 1:00 PM EST

Broncos DB Kareem Jackson – Jackson entered the league as a first-round pick of the Texans back in 2010, where he spent nine seasons as their starting cornerback. He then signed a multi-year deal with Denver this offseason.

Texans CB Bradley Roby – Roby was drafted by the Broncos in the first round in 2014. He spent five seasons as the team’s starting nickelback before signing a one-year deal this offseason with Houston.

Texans OT Chris Clark – spent five seasons from 2010 to 2014 with the Broncos primarily as a backup and spot starter. He is currently in his second stint in Houston after signing in October. He spent three seasons from 2015 to 2017 with the Texans after being traded from Denver prior to the 2015 season.

Texans S Mike Adams – spent the 2012 and 2013 seasons in Denver as a starting safety. He then signed with Houston this past September.

Broncos OT Jake Rodgers – spent a portion of the 2018 offseason with the Texans before being waived on May 2018.

49ers49ers vs SaintsSaints 1:00 PM EST

Saints WR Ted Ginn Jr – spent three seasons from 2010 to 2012 with the 49ers after being traded from the Dolphins in April 2010. He later signed a multi-year deal with the Saints in 2017.

Saints G/C Nick Easton – acquired by the 49ers in a trade with the Ravens in September 2015, but was traded away a month later to the Vikings

Saints OT Patrick Omameh – entered the league as a 49ers UDDA in 2013. He was on the 49ers practice squad until being signed off by the Buccaneers in October 2013. He bounced around the league as both a starter and backup before signing with the Saints this past offseason.

49ers LS Kyle Nelson – entered the league as a Saints UDFA in 2011 before being released before that season.

BengalsBengals vs. BrownsBrowns 1:00 PM EST

Bengals DE Anthony Zettel – spent the 2018 season with the Browns before being cut before this season and later signed by the Bengals. Entered the league as a sixth round pick of the Lions in 2016.

Bengals CB B.W. Webb – spent 10 days on the Browns active roster in December 2017

PanthersPanthers vs. FalconsFalcons 1:00 PM EST

Falcons RB Kenjon Barner – entered the league as a sixth round pick of the Panthers in 2013. Had three separate stints in Carolina in between stints with three other teams before signing with Atlanta this offseason.

Panthers OLB Bruce Irvin – spent two months with the Falcons last year after being cut by the Raiders. Signed with the Panthers this offseason.

Panthers DE Efe Obada – spent a month in the 2016 offseason with the Falcons. Joined the Panthers via the NFL’s International Player Pathway program and earned a spot on the Panthers’ 53-man roster last season.

Panthers P Michael Palardy – spent a week on the Falcons practice squad in October 2016. Then signed with the Panthers a month later and has been their punter since.

DolphinsDolphins vs. JetsJets 1:00 PM EST

Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick – spent the 2015 and 2016 seasons as the Jets starting quarterback. He led the Jets to a 10-6 record in 2015, but just missed the playoffs.

Jets LB Neville Hewitt – spent three seasons from 2015 to 2017 with the Dolphins after entering the league with the team as an undrafted free agent.

Dolphins OT Jesse Davis – spent the 2016 offseason with the Jets and a portion of the season on their practice squad before signing with the Dolphins and eventually becoming a starter.

Jets QB David Fales – spent the 2017 and 2018 seasons as the Dolphins third-string quarterback

Dolphins TE Clive Walford – spent the 2018 offseason with the Jets before being released before the season.

Jets LB James Burgess – entered the league as a Dolphins UDFA in 2016, but was released before the season. He had stints on the Chargers, Ravens, Jaguars, and Browns practice squads before finding his way back to the Dolphins practice squad in December 2018. He was claimed by the Jets off waivers this offseason.
